My name is Lauren and I am currently 25 years old. I started this group because there are so many books on my reading list that don't just seem to fit into one group. Basically I just want to read randomness. I love all types of genres and am more than open to suggestions on what we should read.
Nice to meet you Chimney! I also enjoy reading graphic novels, I was thinking of putting some on the upcoming reading list. Have any you are currently dying to read nd discuss?
I am Jane and a voracious reader. I read a wide variety of books as well currently I am reading "Cronkite" by Douglas Brinkley and really enjoying it. I also recently read "The Meryl Streep Movie Club" and enjoyed it as well. Fiction, non-fiction, romance, science fiction, so many interests and not enough time! Thank you Lauren for asking me to join this group. I love sharing thoughts on the books we read. I often find new books this way.
Hi, I'm Danielle, and it's been twelve and a half hours since my last book. ;-)I love to read and am always wishing I had more time to do so. My cause of death will probably be "crushed by towering to-be-read pile of books." I am both extremely and not-at-all picky about what I'll read, meaning I'll try any genre so long as the voice is compelling. I usually read two to three books concurrently: a non-fiction, a YA, and something mainstream, although I'm certainly not opposed to literary fiction. As far as bestsellers, I'm perennially late to the party (I just read 'The Hunger Games' yesterday), but I usually get there eventually. That said, I have very little patience for bad or lazy writing, so please don't recommend 'Fifty Shades of Grey' to me. Ever. I will stab you.
I have a 7-year old daughter to whom I read every night, so you'll probably see some Middle Grade fiction scattered throughout my feeds. I also like to pretend the Harry Potter books are there because of her, but I doubt I'm fooling anyone.

Hi everyone, my name is Nikki. I am currently at the present moment 28, and a single mom of a daughter who will be one on October 5th. My favorite type of books are horror, sci-fi and paranormal but I do read pretty much anything I can get my hands on. The last couple months I have been struggling with some personal issues and my reading has taken a hit. I do try and read to my daughter every night and she loves to pick books up and look at them whether they are picture books, or a huge copy of something like Great Expectations.
For work I am an Enrolled Agent which means I am enrolled to practice before the IRS. I prepare tax returns, do tax planning and I also do IRS reprsentation work. I also drive a racecar for my hobby and love baking, cooking, hiking and generally anything outdoors.

Hey everyone, I'm Erin and I'm 24 years old! Of course I love to read-Romance being my favorite. I also love Young Adult (Richelle Mead is a must read for me), classic fiction, and some fantasy, but I like to check out other genres as well. I graduated college with a degree in history so I love reading those books as well! Thanks Lauren for the invite!

My name is Lauren. I am 23 years old and would very much like to become a children's or teen librarian some day. I am currently reading Forever by Maggie Stiefvater. I love just about anything but I really love young adult, children's, fantasy, and sci-fi. I to will probably end up crushed to death by a pile of books, to read or not! :)
Hi everyone, my name is Jacky, I'm 34 and I love to read. I pretty much read anything but most of my books fall into horror, fantasy, thriller and historical genres. My poor bookcases are sagging under the weight of all the books I own. I can't walk into a book shop without walking out with a book. I absolutely adore that new book smell, I can sit for ages just fanning the book to get that smell lol
Hi everybody, I'm Charlotte, and I'm 13 years old( I feel so young compared to everyone else!) I love lots of different genres of books, and can't really stick to just one. I love book recommendations, because sometimes I have no idea what I want to read. I positively love curling up and getting lost in a good book. Books are always just so comforting to me that's why I love them.

Hello everyone!! I'm Nena, and I'm 25 years old. I read mostly romance novels, but I have been into YA recently and also enjoy Fantasy. I like reading randomness it keeps me entertained and hopefully gets me to look at other genres that I normally would not have considered. Open minded :) Thanks Lauren for inviting me. This is my first group so I apologize for being a bit slow in the beginning.
Oh and I'm a receptionist at a game developer. So, mostly I spend half my day at my desk reading or on here looking for what else I can put on my to-read list. I think I should stop looking though and catch up on reading what I already own, lol. So many books, so little time. :(

Hey guys! Lauren, thanks so much for the invite! :)I'm Aa'Ishah, I'm 17 but I'll be 18 week after next. I used to read continuously, starting one book two minutes after finishing another, but sadly school doesn't allow time for that anymore. I read almost exclusively YA, with only a few privileged adult books making it on my reading list. ;)

I love to read just about anything, the only thing that I don't really care for is romance, however paranormal romance is ok. Hello All,It was a pleasant surprise to find this group while I was browsing for book clubs. I also have an eclectic taste in readings. I hope that with such a diverse membership I'll be able to discover new authors and learn from everybody's perspectives.

I am VERY glad you were able to find this group while browsing, it's just getting started but I hope that we can get some suggestions to broaden our tastes and experience something we might not normally read but can all discuss.
Hey there, I am Laurie and my body is 48, but the mind is forever in my 20's. I read all the time on my Kindle Fire (love it, by the way). I already work in a fantasy world (I work at a residential facility for the mentally ill) and have a micro farm. I have goats, chickens, a cat and a dog named Finn who is sometimes the bane of my existence. I enjoy all kinds of books, but shy away from anything political, police procedural, detective, strictly mystery and others like it. Give me romance, paranormal and fantasy!!!

I'm a recently published author (my screen name is actually based on the first character I ever created) and I have NO idea what it means to be in a group but I liked the book selection so here's hoping I don't embarrass myself.... further. Also, I should probably mention that I won't be able to read anything right away because whenever I'm in the middle of a really good writer's groove I can't read or watch or listen to anything that might spoil that.....maybe I should think twice about joining....>.>

Hi guys, my name is Jenn. I just turned 30 a few months ago (wow it's weird to type that lol). If I had to pick a favorite genre, I guess it would be YA. That's what I seem to be reading the most lately. But honestly, I love all types of genres and my TBR pile is a cross of many genres. I'm a member of other groups, but don't really interact with them all that much. But I like the layout of this one so far. I like that it's not limited to one things. I look forward to chatting with you all and making new friends, not to mention get more books to read - cause I need more ;)

Hey everyone. I'm Nicole. I'm 26 years old and live in Vermont. All my kids have 4 legs and fur (1 dog, 2 cats, 2 rats). I believe this is just the group I've been looking for. I say fantasy novels are my favorite, but really I like to raid peoples book cases and read just about anything I find that looks interesting. I can go from reading a part of the Harry Potter series to a Jodi Picoult novel. I'm always looking for a suggestion on what to read next.

Sorry I've been MIA our daughter Emmalee got very sick last week and almost ended up in the hospital now she's better so I'm trying to catch up on cleaning, laundry, reading, ect. Hopefully after this weekend things will be back to normal :)

Been there! My son has seizures if his fever gets to high so anytime he feels the SLIGHTEST bit warm the AC is set to 50 and I am up all night shivering and just watching him breathe.

OMG Emily how scary!! Emmalee had croup and her temp was 104...it wouldn't come down no matter what I did...they gave her a steroid and that helped bring it down then we ended up in the ER Saturday because she was screaming that her ear hurt, turns out she had a viral infection in her ear.
I'm happy to report that she is back to her normal sassy 4 year old (going on 16) self :)

Glad she's ok now. Also, word to the wise, if you're staying the night at the hospital with your kid, not a good idea to watch Land Before Time. Or Wubbzy but that's for a TOTALLY different reason. >.>
Hello everyone! My name is Sara and I am a lover of books and writing. I am a HUGE Stephen King fan and have a tattoo on my right wrist from the fifth book of his Dark Tower series. I am also a HUGE movie lover as well so our home is overloaded with bookshelves and DVD racks. Which is perfect, if you ask me. :)I was invited to this group by Lauren which is awesome! This is my first time being invited to a group and I was so happy, ha ha. :)
