cataloguing, one of the exclusive shelves

That's pretty bizarre, nothing wrong with that shelf name. I presume you mean a sticky shelf, so it stays up the top :)Hopefully you'll get answers as well as a reinstatement.
nope, i mean exclusive. where books can only be kept on one shelf exclusively. yep, hoping they can do something about it!
Your shelf disappeared? There was talk on one of the feedback threads that only the 1st 50 shelves will show on the UGB to improve the UGB's performance. It should show up because it is an exclusive shelf.
I had a look at Midu's full list of shelves and it definitely isn't there.Notwithstanding the UGB, I haven't heard of this happening before. Very strange.
At least they aren't gone altogether.Create another shelf with a slightly different name & shift them back over.
I don't think so. I think that it only happens when you use the pull done shelf menu on the UGB. If you go to each book individually and edit shelves, the proper shelves should be there.
AH wrote: "I looked and I can't see your cataloging books shelf. ARCH. That is annoying."LOL. That's what I said back in msg #355 ;)
I haven't heard of that happening before and I don't think we can blame the UGB, cause it wouldn't have eaten an existing shelf, just possibly not shelved the new books correctly.
look at this page:http://www.goodreads.com/review/list/...
i've only read the sookie book, yet the others are on read shelf too, aren't they?

Amelia: Magic Bites
I like that anthology with the exception of Charlaine Harris' story. That story was really strange and I could not remember those characters from Sookie's world.
I'll be reading Second Grave on the Left for "dark fantasy". I hope to finish Summoning the Night tomorrow.

Review: Sophia is part blind but her heart sure is working. When Raine comes to the ball it is a surprise to his friends and to others as well. Not to mention his dead wifes family, who think Raine killed Beatrice. Scandal abounds in this love affaire until Sophia's brother Stephen and Henry try to make her marry someone she doesn't love. Sophia escapes and into who's arms none other than Raine the earl of Rainecourt. They marry as a solution but problems follow even as their love grows. And they learn to trust one another with their lives.
@Carlyn:really good anthology! a quote:
“Do you know why you‟ve found me half-naked? Do you know what this is?"
I don‟t know, sir. What is this?”
“This is karma. This is every negative thing I‟ve done, coming back to take a big bite of my ass.”
The tightness in her throat eased. She strove to match the light tone his response invited.
“That is unfortunate. Particularly as, in my professional opinion, the consequences of your actions are worse than you imagine.”
“Why do you say that, Winters?”
“Because you are much more than half-naked, sir. And although I have many talents, protecting you from mystical kar mic forces is not one of them.”
He tilted his head, as if weighing that. “So chances are, I‟ll lose my shorts before we‟re
done.”

I did for a basic outline but then if I list things ahead, then I lose interest in reading! I'm weird. Though there is still a loooong way to go for me.
I know what you mean! but you're reading at a good pace :-) keep it up! i chose this steampunk anthology which was a chunker! and that's why I'm staying away from Night Angel right now!
Thanks, Midu! I'm gonna read Diana Gabaldon (for time travel and a good motivation to continue the series) which is 800 pgs and that is why I'm choosing to stay away too! Lol, same reasons :D
I'm so disappointed. I didn't get much reading done this past week/weekend. I don't like being behind like this. :(The good news is that I will be off Friday and Monday..so, I hoping to get much reading done. :D
11/5/12 - Finished my Dark Fantasy ReadHollowland - 4 Stars
I got this as a Kindle freebie about a year ago and it sat unread until Bookshelf Bingo. Thanks, Steph for a great way to get all those unread books read.
Hollowland is the story of a young woman on a mission to find her 8 year old brother in a world full of zombies and other dangerous roadside marauders, cultists, and other stuff. When her refuge is attacked by zombies, Remy and her companions escape and head off into the wild. All Remy knows is that she needs to head north to the next army quarantine settlement.
This is a frightening world, but Remy is one of the most badass zombie fighters I've seen. Added plus - she rescued a lioness who loves to attack zombies. Ripley the lioness tags along with Remy, Harlow, Blue, and Lazlo as they seek out the the quarantine settlement.
This was an enjoyable read and not quite as gory as some zombie books can be. (There is zombie guts and gore, but just not as graphic). My only criticism is that the ending was a little abrupt for me.

I pretty much enjoyed this series. It was a little slow to start but once I got familiar with everyone and the story got rolling it was good. I like Mercy Thompson and her cohorts including the next door neighbor Alpha Adam and Dr. Sam. Mercy is a coyote not a werewolf. It seems like poor Mercy has no problem finding trouble or rather trouble finds her. She's a good person and helps anyone who needs it. Including helping to rescue the Alpha's daughter Jesse and a stray werewolf. It was a good story.
