Gisbelle | 25787 comments Loved Hunger Games :) but book 3 was not as good as book 1 & 2, in my opinion. I hope you like the series :D

message 403: by Inger (new)

Inger | 241 comments Yes, a pity that book 3 was so.. I don't want to call it bad but I hoped for a spectacular last book in the series..and it just wasn't what I hoped for ^^
I think book 2 is the best of all, I love the arena :D

Great for Halloween :) I am going to read his book for Halloween also. It is my first time with the King, The Shining by Stephen King

That is one of my all time favorite King books. Jack Sawyer...God I love him to death. If you like it, be sure to look up Black House by Peter Straub afterwards, and feel my jealousy. I had to wait over a decade for it :)

...but I'm curious as to why you think Jack has schizophrenia?

I don't know..it was pretty depressing and I didn't like the writing style of it at all. I finished it last night and gotta say I wouldn't look at it again. Nice cover though haha

I'm now reading The New Kid by Temple Mathews and am really enjoying it.

I read The Shining for the first time awhile ago and enjoyed it a lot.

message 419: by Libbie (new)

Libbie And Jack seems to have hallucinations and hear voices, which are both symptoms of schizophrenia. He's a wonderful character, and I can't wait to read more about him!! (:

You must be early in the book still, but I can assure you Jack doesn't have schizophrenia. There are other reasons for what he's seeing and hearing :)

First, congrats on your 10 year anniversary. That's so sweet! Maybe the book would be much better with male POV because I do love Lucas :D
