really? I love her Lux series too. That's why I am planning to read this series. Now I am reading her new book Cursed. I just finished a few chapters, but it looks promising :)

Jacquelyn (jacquelynreads) | 18790 comments I have those feelings sometimes as well, that I'm just not into the book! It's normal and like you, i just put it down and stop reading it and then I go regret that I bought it and didn't get it from the library!

message 157: by Jacquelyn, thebrunettebooknerd (new)

Jacquelyn (jacquelynreads) | 18790 comments That's good! I hate when I buy a book at the bookstore and I don't like it! That's why I go on Goodreads before I go to the bookstore to see what my friends said about the books!

Gisbelle | 25787 comments Finished What's Left of Me (The Hybrid Chronicles, #1) by Kat Zhang (4 stars) and now reading Cursed by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Gisbelle | 25787 comments I am reading Flipped by Wendelin Van Draanen . It's a cute book. I also try to finish Thoughtless (Thoughtless, #1) by S.C. Stephens Cursed by Jennifer L. Armentrout as well. So mostly I switch back and forth.

Great reading plan. But I normally don't read several books in similar genre in a row. I find that makes me dislike the book :D

What do you like to read? Maybe I can recommend you some :D

message 177: by Ruta (new)

Ruta Well I liked The House of Night series at first, but as deeper into the series it just feels more childish. Maybe something like that but more mature. I love reading about vampires:)

message 178: by Gisbelle (new)

Gisbelle | 25787 comments So have you read The Immortal Rules (Blood of Eden, #1) by Julie Kagawa ? I haven't read many vamp books and I don't like vamp books that much. But The Immortal Rules is one heck of a vamp book. It's very interesting :)

message 179: by Ruta (new)

Ruta No, I haven't. Thanks:) I'll definitely try this one :)

Mara (maraanne) Gisbelle wrote: "wow only 1 star for Envy? I was going to read that one."
It is massively disappointing. I will have the physical review for it up soon, if you want to see the reasons why I gave it such a low rating.

Finished: Cloaked by Alex Flinn (2 stars) Ivy (Ivy, #1) by Julie Hearn (3 stars) The Redheaded Princess by Ann Rinaldi (4 stars) A World Away by Nancy Grossman (3 stars) Troubadour by Mary Hoffman (3 stars)

Now reading: Dark Inside (Dark Inside, #1) by Jeyn Roberts

message 186: by Gisbelle (new)

Gisbelle | 25787 comments I was talking about Carnival of Soul. But never mind now that you had to stop reading, It must not be that good :)
I really want to start Sea Breeze series also. But a bit tied up now.

I'll try the audio, my Kindle (not techie) spoke for the first time last night, I bought it in 2009. Hahaha. Am I slow or what? I'm not sure my heart can handle book 2. There were so many deaths in book 1.

Knife Edge (Noughts & Crosses, #2) by Malorie Blackman Graceling (Graceling Realm, #1) by Kristin Cashore Ptolemy's Gate 3 (Bartimaeus, #3) by Jonathan Stroud Throne of Glass (Throne of Glass, #1) by Sarah J. Maas Insurgent (Divergent, #2) by Veronica Roth

message 199: by Jacquelyn, thebrunettebooknerd (new)

Jacquelyn (jacquelynreads) | 18790 comments Insurgent- It's not as good as Divergent but you should read it now, because if you read it any later you will forget all the characters from Divergent! That's what happened to me and I only had about a one month gap between the two.

message 200: by Katie (new)

Katie (katiehodgkinson) How could I ever forget the characters of divergent :') <3 but okie doke, Insurgent is what it will be!
