Kristen Tarzwell (kristarz) I have a hard time starting books and not finishing them too sometimes! I've been working hard at changing that so hopefully it'll pay off!

The Knife of Never Letting Go was actually beyond what I could have imagined for it, so happy to see it's getting more positive than negative attention! :)

message 1043: by Mehsi (new)

Mehsi Dropped the Dome (got really bored). Now reading: I Am Scrooge A Zombie Story for Christmas by Adam Roberts and Brothers to the Death (The Saga of Larten Crepsley, #4) by Darren Shan

message 1044: by Gisbelle (new)

Gisbelle | 25787 comments Dome by Stephen King, right? I get bored reading his books too :)

Now reading Secrets Vol. 3 (Secrets, #3) by H.M. Ward ... The series is pretty short. I think I can finish all 5 in one day.

message 1045: by Mehsi (new)

Mehsi Yep Stephen King. I wanted to read his books and I heard good things about the Dome. But when reading it... the first 40 or so pages were ok, after that it just seemed to go on and on. Lots of boring dialogue. And I also got a bit tired of all the Praise the lord/religion talk. I am Christian myself, but I tend to stay away from books that just smack around with religion.

message 1046: by Gisbelle (new)

Gisbelle | 25787 comments A lot of his books are about religion.

message 1047: by Mehsi (new)

Mehsi If it is like this book, I think I will stay away from them then. I don't mind a bit of religion here and there ofcourse, but when a big part of it is like it, no thank you.

It was just ridiculous sometimes I actually laughed! Gonna give the genre another go though.
