Maybe if I can find it in the library one day (though it probably would be in Dutch, knowing my library and not wanting to buy a lot of English books.) I will read it. I don't think I would buy it since I am not sure if I would like it.

Think positive girl! :)
Getting a good book is like picking a needle in a haystack. You won't really get to it if you don't look around right? :)
Happy Reading! :)

I am positive, but again, I will only buy books I am sure I will like and will keep. Aka books with a nice blurb, genres I tend to like and some more stuff. And since I am doubting this book in many ways (and people making me feel like I should read it don't help with motivating me to read something), I don't think I will buy it. I just don't have enough space or money to get everything in the world. :)
I don't mind experimenting, but for that I mostly use my library. :) Even if it is means waiting a bit.

Sorry to disappoint you.

Mehsi Currently reading: The Lying Game (The Lying Game, #1) by Sara Shepard (really started in a confusing way) and The Red Blazer Girls The Ring of Rocamadour by Michael D. Beil (really fun book so far) :)

message 908: by Gisbelle (new)

Gisbelle | 25787 comments Talking about Lux. I was not so sure about the series either at first. I started reading it with Novel and Jona (who were my very first reading buddies :D ) and I am hooked!

I love the Lying Game, but I hope the series ends soon. Really want to know the REAL killer :D

message 911: by Katie (new)

Katie (katiehodgkinson) I've just finished Throne of Glass (Throne of Glass, #1) by Sarah J. Maas (3 stars) wasn't entirely keen on this book. But I think I'm going to finish (eventually) A Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire, #1) by George R.R. Martin next.

I just get angry when I get the feeling from people that I NEED to read a book. Would be nice if people just think ok, someone doesn't want to read it (yet) and are fine with it. :)

Any idea on how long the series will last? I have only seen 2 books in my library. Maybe I shouldn't read the book yet. Atleast not until everything is out.

I never watched the movie, but I heard it was good. Did you ever read Dash & Lily's Book of Dares by Rachel Cohn ? I didn't really like it, so I don't have high expectations for this one. I hoped it would be better.

I actually thought it was better than the first. towards the end of the first book I found myself just wanting it to end already. With this one it wasn't like that at all.
