I really like Sherrilyn Kenyon's YA series centered around Nick Gautier. When I was reading her DH series, I thought that it was just so sad...but seeing the back-story with a twist, it's pretty cool. Waiting for book 4, now.

I am behind, too....thought I would be able to read all of these books while I was on "vacation." Taking care of my husband, the dogs and driving to see my daughter took up alot of my week... :(

Okay, so - bragging a little bit, for a change. :) My life and my months lately have been so crazy...but (mostly) in the best possible manner! We work so hard, but it's afternoons like this, that make it all worthwhile. Our friend took us on his boat to Rose Island (1/2 hr from Nassau - NO TOURISTS!) today, for the first time in MONTHS. As our contribution, we always bring this fabulous 16" mini-weber-type grille, Nathan's hot dogs (he LOVES them!!), fixin's, chips, homemade guacamole, etc...plus (and even more importantly?) fixins' for Vodka Tonics. We also bring beach chairs and enjoy movie-quality Caribbean scenery - aqua water for miles...rain in the distance...So...

As a result - - my reading has (sadly) taken a greater-than-usual back seat. D'ya feel sorry for me at all? Yeh, I don't blame you - I wouldn't, either, LOL! Between work and trying to "capture Bahamian post card memories," I'm just happy to read at all!

THESE are the days I live for - and the days of which others only dream. I so am blessed.

L:(L)ove Unscripted by Tina Reber- 4 star.. Upon rereading this book I found that I really like Taryn (heroine) a lot in the beginning.... but towards the end she turned into a whining little girl.. Still a cute story but I wish the heroine acted differently...
L:(L)ove Unrehearsed by Tina Reber- 4 1/2 stars.. I really enjoyed the epilogue.. Super cute.. I guess my problem with the heroine is I've just gotten so use to reading badass, foul mouthed, independent heroines that Taryn just seemed to girlie to me.. Too emotional and insecure about herself..

After finishing my exams last Friday(finally, my mid-sems are over!!!), I suddenly decided to go to my father's hometown for the weekend. So, I couldn't complete the challenge. I had planned to finish two more books in the past three days.

Anyway, I can't really regret not completing this challenge because I had so much FUN with my cousins for 4 days *grins widely*.
