Hey wanted to pop in earlier, but I had to go see The Expendables 2 and get my fill of super awesome 80's action movies.

I'm super excited to play this time! I was a last minute fill in last time around. Toni if you want to be captain again, I'm okay with that. Anyone got any team name ideas? I'll try to come up with some by tomorrow morning (I'm on the West coast) that include our team number.

Good morning everyone. Since I have never done anything like this challenge before, I'm hoping some of you veterans can answer something for me. I've read the instructions and still am not clear on this list of words to look for in the book.

For example if I am reading a book and see the phrase - the sun was a bright ORANGE. Then I could report that as a color. Would that mean that the team would no longer need to find the color orange? Or does each person on the team need to find orange sometime during the challenge to get a point for the team? On the flipside once I report the word orange I would no longer be looking for it throught the rest of challenge?

Does each team member need to completely fill out this list of words individually as we progress through the challenge?

I just saw the link to the spreadsheet that Dawn created and it looks like each person has to find each item for the team to get a point. And each person would only need to find that item once throughout the challenge. Right?

You are correct each person finds the item. Basicly you get 1/5th of a point for finding the item, but the team won't get credit until there is a full point.

It is real easy the first week because you have so many options to find but as the weeks go on and your to be found list gets smaller it becomes harder to find 1 book that has items you still need.

It is such a hard thig to explain but easy once you actually do it. It is easier to explain than Scatergorries though...

Paris I love the same one as Sheila though and I am totally okay with being the captain again. That will mean when I get up on Friday I will e-mail you all and let you know the item for the week. I will also try to keep track on this page what we have and what everyone still needs.

And I'm pretty much on Goodreads all day, especially the weekdays so if anyone needs book recs or help of any sort, message me and I'll probably get back to you pretty fast. I am constantly in the need for a distraction at work, so I like to sneak on here and check things out throughout the day.

I'm on Goodreads a lot as well. I was just thinking how much I would miss it if this website disappeared. AND now that I have discovered challenges - watch out! I think being part of a team will be fantastic!

I can't "sneak" on anymore from work though since I am newly retired. haha

I'm trying to decide if I should look ahead and see where I can find items or just wait and read based on the item called. I'm driving myself crazy cause I like to be organized and sometimes I'm a little too organized.

I think the mix of items is pretty good this time, some are super easy while others are a bit harder. I feel like bed is a give away, almost every book I read mentions a bed. While stairs are a hit and miss thing.

I would do a bit of research on some of the harder items and see if you can find them in a book you have, just in case they are called early on.

Ok team, bed is our word so that should be pretty easy to find. Everybody has to have a bed, right? I'm in a couple of other team challenges that start tomorrow so in the hope of double or even TRIPLE dipping I'll wait until then to decide what I am going to read.

Bed should be pretty easy to get us started. I'll be waiting to start another book until tomorrow too. I won't be home at all today/tonight and am still trying to finish another book. I'm also hoping that I can tie this in with the last Bingo shelf that will be called tomorrow.

This was my first read of a Richard North Patterson book and I found it kind of long winded. Basically it is the story of s dysfunctional/estranged family that must deal with the consequences that surround the suspicious death of the patriarch of the family. Without giving away the story, suffice it to say dear old dad leaves quite a mess behind for the family to have to deal with once long held secrets are revealed. I give it ★★★

Week 1
I read this week the sequel to The Marriage Pact. This was a good book and I liked that they had the characters from the first one in this one also. I got it for free off of Amazon and am glad that I did. I recommend both of her books to anyone. I gave it 4 stars.

Week 1 - Bed

It took me far too long to read this series and now in only a couple of months I have finished the most recent book. I love everything about this series, but I admit that I was a tad apprehensive about Riaz getting his own book. I wasn't that into him when he was introduced in Play of Passion, same with Adria, but I have to say their book was great. There were so many wonderful moments, both heartbreaking and exhilirating between them. Now I'm bummed because this series is now on my hurry up and wait list with the next book nowhere in sight.

Thing: Bed, this is mentioned a lot...probably due to the fact that there is a lot of sex in this book. lol First mentioned in Chapter 5
People: Healer - both Tamsyn and Lara are seen in this book, the two pack healers.
Places: Mountains - mentioned a lot in the book, the SnowDancer den is in the Sierras.
Color: Green - rich, deep green of the firs (in chapter 2)

It was easy read, with full of action and passionate love. I loved the chemistry between Alaric McCabe and Keeley McDonald and how there relationship involved.
