I like reading the originals, especially if the translation of series sometimes takes so long or they cancel it after some books. But I also read the translated versions.

This is a good one. I like anthologies because they can be read whenever you have some free time (it's a busy month!), and it's a good way to discover new authors.

Welcome to the challenge, Valorie! Just read my first Joanne Fluke recently and have lined up more of her books. I haven't heard of any of those authors, except I just yesterday saw someone post
in a challenge; haven't checked it out.

I would like to say, "no" to the mainly action/revenge... but I guess it depends on the author. Or, Good Gravy Beans, even the "sub" sub-genre. LOL!

She needs to pick one of them and go with it for crying out loud! I loved the cover of Daughter of Smoke and Bone so that's what drew me in. I don't normally like a lot of YA books, but this one sounded more fantasy then YA so I thought I would try it out.
