Romance Readers Reading Challenges discussion

Lynsay Sands (born Leamington, Ontario) is an award winning Canadian author of over 40 books and novellas. She is noted for the humor she injects into her stories. While she writes both historical and paranormal novels and historical romances in tandem with Hannah Howell, she is best known for her Argeneau series about a modern family of vampires.

Before college Sands sent in a manuscript to Harlequin Enterprises, but got a response asking for a rewrite and anything else she had written; taking this as a rejection Sands went on to study at the University of Windsor full time while working full time. Sands published her first novel, The Deed, in 1997.

Sands has written for three publishing houses and her novels have made numerous Bestsellers lists. Sands has been nominated the Romantic Times Best Historical Romance and the Romantic Times Best Paranormal Romance awards, and has placed three times in the Reviewers International Organization (RIO) awards. She has won one P.E.A.R.L. (Paranormal Excellence Award for Romantic Literature) for the paranormal anthology Mistletoe & Magic and has been nominated several more times.

B - could take it or leave it. Was not an unpleasant experience but I'm not burning rubber to get to her other books.

I just read some of the reviews. It's cute and funny. That's what I got from them. Not dark apparently.

That works for me. Haven't read much funny/cute Vamp, so it'll be a nice change up. Loved the funny/cute werewolf take in How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf, so I'm looking forward to this.

hey, I've never read that before. I like the sound of it. That one actually sounds cute. Well, it's on my to-read list now. I guess we'll be reading the vampire version of that book. Except the cover of this one doesn't look like a cute book.
