Ok, I'm going to give this a go. I'm going to the party 1/2
♥ All time favorites,✔

Okay, but it is a plot spoiler. Not sure of the location... but it is when Diana gets (view spoiler)

Okay...but let me think on it, Rachael. Do you want top five, with a mix of genre...or top five romances?

Can't blame you, Cathie. LOVED that book.

That is a book that I've considered reading. I tried reading Dewey The Small Town Library Cat and could NOT get through the book. I only got about 60 pages read. So I'm a little unsure on another animal book right now....

You won't be disappointed, that was my first book by her and I LOVED it.

How about a mix? Where some of them are easy to find since I rely so heavily on my library! :-)

Get the book Jennifer:-). You will not be disappointed. It is so much more than an "animal" book. You will laugh out loud, and cry and probably do both at the same time. It is about persistence and not giving up and dealing with what life gives you and staying in the race when it would be so much easier to just drop out. (The Art of Racing in the Rain.)

Thanks, Cathie! I think I will pick it up and give it a try sometime in September. I have about eight books out from the library now, and two that are on hold for me. So once I drop some of those off I will pick up The Art of Racing in the Rain. I'm not against books about animals, but there just has to be *more* to the book, ya know?

I am going to go with "Greeting the Sunrise"

All it costs you is a bit of your time! (I'm not factoring in the cost of gas to/from the library, since these are people who are there all the time anyhow LOL)

In the past, I have started A Discovery of Witches but like you, I put it down before finishing it. Granted, I liked the richness of Ms. Harkness' writing but it was just so darn slow going! I saw in your review that there was a point where you fell in love with the book. May I ask if you remember how far into it you were when you knew for certain you wanted to keep reading to finish?
