I will always rate the books I read or have read. I really value sincere/honest reviews and ratings.
Favorite themes and tropes: Plus size heroine, friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, older heroine/hero, second chances, CONFIDENT heroines.
Themes and tropes I am NOT interested in: pop stars, love triangles, weak heroines, INSECURE heroines, anti-hero, over the top angst, Age Play/Daddy Kink, “Alpha” “heroes” AKA douche-bags/tyrants/assholes.
(We all like and dislike different themes/tropes and have different tastes, No Judgement & No Shaming)
Books with relatable characters are simply the best kind of books.
Authentic and sincere attempts at diversity and inclusion is always better than disingenuous mediocre ones that just follow a trend. Representation matters! Body diversity matters !
There needs to be more and better representation in the romance genre. With more representation of all different kinds of bodies and abilities and ages etc.
I am always on the lookout for good books with plus size heroines. And if you have any recommendations for vegan or vegetarian characters/books in the romance genre (all of them) please let me know.
