So, I want y'all to save me from this impending doom of illiteracy. Give me a book that will grab my attention and occupy my whole mind. It doesn't necessarily need to be action-packed or fast-paced, but the problem seems to be I'm feeling disassociated with the characters and not being attached to it (not caring and reading just to pass the time) so a passionate book, please. Beautiful and burning with passion. I have been reading Fredick Bachman's book because A MAN CALLED OVE was great but it doesn't seem to cut it.
A character-driven (EMPHASIS ON CHARACTER WORK) and emotional story (with an interesting and engaging plot) would be very appreciated. I'd love something that would make me weep back to reading books lol. I'm asking for a reminder of why I adore books. Thank you!!...more
