I grew up on Goodreads. It was my 1st social site and has to date always been a fond if melancholic scrap book of nostalgia. Who I am has changed so tremendously, I can see the trajectory of my life through past bios .
I just realized how Goddamn cringe my self improvement era bio was like wtf man 😭. Anyhow.
I'm just a guy that's trying to have an alright time and do some good. Someone very dear to me once said something they liked about me was that I " try to decipher the flow in life".
I value discipline, boundaries, self improvement and Islam. I like video games, playing football oh and I'm very loud.
Genres I read these days are :
1) Philosophy ( including Islamic philosophy)
2) Self help
3) Middle grade , shit does that even count when was the last time I read a MG book?
4) Fantasy
5) Sci Fi.
In general when it comes to fiction I like my books to have gravity ( take the job of suspending disbelief seriously ) but not be real .
I want to come away from a book with my heart strings pulled not fricking emotionally traumatized 😭.
