My name is Mehsi. Birthday: 5th of February. Currently living in a castle in the sky with my lovely knight. Plus, also a cute King Charles Cavalier Spaniel named Coco and two dwarf hamsters (Nova and Mokka).
I love reading and I read pretty much everything. As long as it looks interesting and fun! Which means that my reader preferences are all over the board. Yes, there are things I won't read, like stuff about climate change, COVID, politics, or classics (thanks to high school for that and almost losing my love for reading).
While reading I like listening to music (and not just soft music, generally I like listening to electronic music).
I don't have all my books that I have read in my life listed. Some books I read as a child are still vivid in my mind, but most books have been forgotten. Even books which I read as a teenager/adult are mostly lost. I was never one to keep track of my books in notebooks, I did try, but it was such a chore that I gave up (thanks ADHD). So I am thankful of a site like Goodreads, now I can easily keep track.
About my shelves, I love adding more tropes/genre shelves. I don't use my To-Read, I have made separate shelves to list reads that I own/got from the library (To-Read-Home + To-Read-Library). Plus, I got three shelves for books I want to buy, OMG-Need-To-Buy-Kindle + OMG-Need-To-Buy, plus one shelf for books that are very rare to find.
I review in English and Dutch.

I recommend this, it is fun, science fiction. It is about an alien coming down to Earth and morphing into a human and pretending to be human but he gets it all wrong and gets into embarrassing situations. Such as, when he first arrives he is totally naked on a motorway, people spit and swear at him and he takes this as a friendly greeting, so spits at people when he first meets them and doesn't understand why they get angry. Lol. I recommend this, it is fun, science fiction.
