Hey, so, i am not a big reader. I have read maybe 30? books in my entire life. But i think its because i wasn't reading the right kind of books.

I don't care too much about the story. I don't care how anyone looks, i skip these parts anyway. You don't have to explain to me on 100 pages that the city looks awesome. What i care about, is anything that makes me think. It can be some wisdom, general truths, opinions, random thoughts, conspiracies, whatever. It just has to make me stop reading for a moment and think about what i have just read.
I keep a list of sentences that are just like that and i kinda judge the book by how many entries from the book there are.
On the other hand it doesn't mean i want a book without a story. I really enjoyed for example The Fault in Our Stars. But not because it has a sad story and all that, but because a big part of the book are just writers thoughts and opinions that makes me think. But i wouldn't want to read just these sentences without any context.
