I'd also enjoy reading a book similar to 'a monster calls' the story brought me to tears and the meaning behind it is really touching.
I'd also probably enjoy a book with a love story but a situation where the male in the relationship is considered as the enemy but then the girl falls for him. Nothing too cheesy.
