Hoping someone can help me. I am trying to remember the name of a book I read a little while ago. I read so many books that sometimes they blend together. This was a romance book. I read so many books that sometimes they blend together. This was a romance book. A woman has a 9 yo daughter and works for a lawyer I think. The father of the daughter found out about her somehow and finds them. They reconnect but struggle through it. I think it takes place in the Midwest like Kansas or Oklahoma. I remember the girls best friend is the neighbor boy and the mom of the boy is the mom of the girls best friend. I also remember there was a tornado/bad storm that came through and knocked down a tree and the father of the girl came by to help and that's when the mom met some of his family.
