These are my rating guidelines
***** (5) After finishing, wanted to or did flip back to beginning & read again immediately, thought about favorably for 1-2 weeks afterward (WOWED), and/or have read at least twice already. Has memorable characters who I adore & am sad when book/series is over b/c I feel like my best
friend(s) have left the planet & miss them. Finished in 1-2 days b/c could not put it down. Not predictable.
****(4) Would highly recommend & plan to read again in the future. Finished in 2-4 days
*** (3) Read better/read worse. Probably would not read again on purpose unless there were no other options. Read leisurely with in a week
** (2) Probably did not care for it much & would forget as soon as I put back on the shelf. A year later can't even remember what it was about. Mildly entertaining. Picked it up when had nothing else to do or sitting in traffic.
*(1) Gritted my way through because I'm too stubborn stop what I've started. Would stick a pencil in my eye rather than to sit through reading it again. Probably took a month+ to finish & upset with myself that I wasted a month of my life when I could have read 10 better books. Ridiculous not even remotely believable for even fiction, fantasy, or whatever genre. Had to skim A LOT!
