I'd love to see you write something in a 20th century time period. There's a lot of range there. What is your fave 20th century time period?

Gail Carriger Ooo, that's hard. Well I love the roaring 20s style, but I'm not really familiar with the time period, so I don't know that I'd ever write in it. I'm always joking I want to do a Madmen-Meets-Vampires, as a kind of 1950s Suburban Fantasy. But I'm not sure there's more in that concept beyond the pun. I hope to someday write a new YA series set in the late 80s now that we are getting nostalgic about it. So... yeah.

The girls at Madame Geraldine's are such fun and Alexia is such a strong woman, beautifully suited to managing a werewolf husband! I've enjoyed seeing Sidhaig and Vieve in their roles in Alexia's life too. I was wondering if you have any plans to travel to Aus/NZ in the future?
