Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

Gilda Morina Syverson I feel like I'm jumping way back, but the very first couple that came to mind was Romeo and Juliet. I suppose it's because my husband Stu and I (Stu is one of the characters in my memoir, My Father's Daughter, From Rome to Sicily) have a real love relationship, just like my Nonna Egidia and Nonno Francesco did in my story and in real life. Funny, when I talk about them in my book, I refer to the Montagues and Capulets. Actually I hadn't thought of my book at all when Romeo and Juliet popped into my head.
