Goodreads asked Gilda Morina Syverson:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Gilda Morina Syverson I am an obsessive journal person. I write my dreams, thoughts that meander through my head, ideas that emerge, anything that surfaces. More than writer's block, I find I am begging for time to write in between other commitments, especially since My Father's Daughter has come out. But if I ever do have a hint of a writer's block, I pick up a piece of writing and spend time editing. I am also an obsessive editor, and editing always leads me back into the writing.
