Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

Rebecca Forster Nick and Nora Charles! The couple from the Thin Man Series in the 1940s. I liked that they were so obviously meant for one another and yet were independent, intelligent and funny in their own right. I hope I'm not dating myself - no I wasn't around in the 40s but close enough to be aware of those great old movies. In the '70s it was The Harts of Hart to Hart. They had the same kind of relationship as those of Nick and Nora Charles. Maybe Josie and Archer are their reincarnation :).
