Ashton Pelham-Martyn and his princess Anjuli. I absolutely love The Far Pavilions by MM Kaye and there is something of Ashton in all my male characters. He adores Anjuli and theirs is the kind of love which melts your insides. Everything works against them though and it can be painful at times to see any light at the end of the tunnel.
