Hi! Four months ago I got Book Scavenger for my birthday, but haven't got the time to read it yet, but hopefully I will be able to read it soon! My question is do you have any writing tips and tricks for young writers such as myself?

It boils down to reading as much as you can--and read diversely. Read books you're naturally drawn to and read ones you don't think are for you. If you love a book, ask yourself why. If you hate a book, do the same. And then, of course, if you want to be a writer you need to write. Take your writing seriously, but don't take yourself too seriously. And always, always, keep going!

I recently got Book Scavenger for my birthday and will start reading it as soon as I am done with all of my library books. I heard you live in Colorado. Where exactly in Colorado do you live? I may live close, and when the second book comes out, I might be able to make it to one of your tours. Also, what writing tips can you give me?
