Emily asked Katie McGarry:

When you started writing the Pushing the Limits series, was is always going to be as many books as it is? Or did you add on books because people liked certain characters and wanted to get to know more of them?

Katie McGarry Hi Emily,

I first wrote Pushing the Limits as a stand alone novel. Beth was the first character to jump out at me. When I wrote the scene where Noah finds her bleeding in the kitchen, Beth broke me and I knew she had a story to tell.

That is how Dare You To was born. Each book that I wrote in the series was due to a secondary character who popped out at me and demanded that their story be told.

Thank you for the question!
