Goodreads asked Ravi Nirmal Sharma:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Ravi Nirmal Sharma Please do not seek perfection on day zero. If that were so, Shahrukh Khan, Amitabh Bacchan, Amir Khan would never have dared to be actors. Look at their evolution from what they were to what they are.

Art is about timing. If you have a great story to tell and it catches the imagination of the audience then they will be kinder to the lack of polish in your work. Focus on brilliant ideas and concepts rather than too much on the form. That develops as you take more steps in your journey and get better and better.

Have an ideal but never compare your writing with the Gods of literature. They too began like you and had their falls before they reached the peak. So write, write and write. And then one day everything falls into place.
