Hey Leisa! It's nolenknowledge from Twitter! Obviously I loved Ethan and Cassies story but what I've always wanted to know is why we never got to see or hear of Ethan making amends with Olivia. Why is that since she was a huge part of his story?

Olivia was always one of Ethan's greatest regrets. It wasn't until he hurt her as badly as he did that he realized how toxic he truly was. We never got to see his apology to her, because it didn't happen during the timeline of the books. Just like someone entering a twelve-step program, Ethan wanted to make amends to as many people as he could when he was undergoing therapy, but Olivia was his hardest. In the same way Cassie avoided Ethan for years, so did Olivia. In my mind, he didn't catch up with Olivia until after he and Cassie were married. It was only after Olivia herself entered a program to treat her drug addiction did she allow Ethan to apologize.
