Hi, Heather! Thank you so much for checking in with me. It's been a hell of a few years, I can tell you. I'm okay, but like everyone in the world recently, I have been through it. Just letting you know that DOCTOR LOVE is done and will be released in April 2022. I'll keep everyone up to date through social media. Thanks so much for your questions! <3

Hey, Hannah! Thanks for your question. Although I do have several POC characters in supporting roles in my books, in Mister Romance, Eden and her sister are white. In fact, they're redheads, so that makes them the whitest people ever. (As an extremely pale, can-never-even-get-a-tan person myself, I tend to write what I know.)
I hope that doesn't diminish your enjoyment of the book. Thank you so much for reaching out, and thank you for reading. Sending you best wishes from Australia! xxx

Hi, honey!
Well, first of all, thank you for the lovely compliment. That's amazing to hear.
Regarding writing humor, uh ... well, my husband would say that a lot of my humor comes from me being a smartass in real life, but don't listen to him. *whispers* He drinks.
I don't really have a process for comedy, and I think that's the key for me. My funniest scenes are those that evolve naturally while I'm writing. I don't usually plan them out or have them in an outline. I think the best humor is situational (if that's even a word). Of course, having strong characters also helps. Some characters are going to have naturally funnier reactions than others, so really locking into their voice gives the scene authenticity.
As I write more books, my big challenge is to maintain a humorous voice without using phrases or expressions that are super common. Or, if I use a common phrase, to use it in a slightly different way.
Anyway, I'm sure I haven't clarified anything for you, but thank you so much for reading, and thank you for the question.

Hi, honey! The pub date right now isn't set in stone, but it should be mid-year in 2018. I'll announce more as soon as I can.
Thank you so much for asking.

Hey, honey! Sorry for the tardy reply. I completely missed a bunch of questions on here.
Hmmmm, I love so many authors. I always love Mia Sheridan and Colleen Hoover. Also Kylie Scott, Helena Hunting, Debra Anastasia, Daisy Prescott, Jamie McGuire. (You've probably read all of those, right? Lol!)
I've read and loved a couple from Karina Halle, too.
Hope that gives you some ideas. Good luck with the search! Let me know if you find anything you love. :)

Hey, honey! I'm so sorry I missed this question! Bad author!
Regarding the release date for Professor Feelgood, I had a bunch of health issues followed by months of international travel that completely screwed up the trajectory of Professor Feelgood. I also have a sick father right now, so my priority has been taking care of him.
Right now the release date will be mid-2018. Thanks so much for inquiring. :)

Hi, Sonya! (Wow, I missed this question. Sorry!)
At this stage there are no plans to have Mister Romance on Audio, purely due to budget constraints, but there are new, cheaper options always developing in audio, so it may happen in the future. I'll be sure to announce it on social media if and when it does.
Thanks so much for asking. :)

Hi Chloe!
Unfortunately life got out of control in 2017 so I had to delay the release of Professor Feelgood. I'm now looking at a 2018 release, probably around April.
Thank you so much for asking!

Hi, sweetie! I'm so sorry I'm just seeing this question!
You've probably discovered that the paperbacks are now available, but just in case you didn't, here's the link: https://www.amazon.com/Mister-Romance...
I'm so thrilled you enjoyed Mister Romance. Thank you so much for reading.

Hi Elisabet!
Oh, sweetie, I wish I had a good answer for you about this, but I'm afraid I don't. Broken Juliet hasn't been picked up by the same publisher as Bad Romeo due to rampant book piracy, and as yet, I haven't had any luck finding another publisher to take on the Spanish translation. I'm sorry.
I'm still trying though, and as soon as anything happens, I'll announce it on social media.
Thank you so much for your question.

Hi, Graciely!
Absolutely, honey. I have on my 'to do' list to do up some Spotify playlists for my Starcrossed characters, so keep your eyes peeled on social media. I'll make and announcement when I'm done.
Thanks so much for your question!

Hi, Luiza!
Yes, definitely. Especially if it's a very emotional scene. I often use music to get me in the mood.
One example would be the scene in Broken Juliet when Ethan leaves Cassie for the second time. I listened to the Pentatonix version of Say Something over and over again before I wrote that. It helped me get inside Cassie's pain so effectively, even now, I can't hear it without getting choked up.

Hey, Gabriela! It was awesome to meet you, too! I love meeting my readers. You guys are seriously the best.
I actually have heaps of different genres of books outlined in my writing folder. Horror, paranormal, fantasy, suspense. I love all genres. One day when I get more time, I'll write them all. Haha!
Thanks so much for your question.

Hey, Talia!
Well, I don't have any firm plans for more Starcrossed books, but never say never, right? I have actually started a book about Connor, but don't have any time in the near future to finish it. I'm so glad you liked Tristan. I love him, and seriously want to hang with him more.
Thank you so much for the question.

Hi, honey! OOH! This is a really good suggestion. I've been meaning to join Spotify for ages, and this gives me a good reason to get onto it.
Thanks!
I'll make an announcement on social media when I've got everything set up.

Hi Sandra!
Ooh, such a hard question. I have a few faves. Of course, anyone who knows me knows that The Outsiders has a special place in my heart, because it kickstarted my love of books when I was 11 years old. Since then, I've read A LOT, but the few that stay in my memory are The Princess Bride but William Goldman, and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams. I also adored Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor.
Thanks so much for your question.
Sending you love and hugs,

Hi Mariana!
Creating perfect guys isn't usually my goal. I like creating guys who you can't help loving *despite* their imperfections. I don't think there's anyone on this planet who is perfect, and like most women, I've known my fair share of guys who deserve a good, solid junkpunch, but I think there are some amazing men in the world. They may be rare, but they're out there. (I'm lucky enough to have married one.) :)
I think all girls deserve to find their soul mate, but until they do, I'm happy to provide them with a steady stream of book boyfriend to help them pass the time.
Thanks so much for your question!
