Goodreads asked Tony Bertauski:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Tony Bertauski Give it time, the solution will come. Understand, the first solution may not be the one I end up using, but it gets me closer. I once told someone I fully expect to delete >10,000 words when I edit. They were shocked. How can you do that? It's part of the process. I think once you understand that they process involves lots of experimenting and a lot of failure, then it's no problem. The last book I published, Flury: Journey of a Snowman, I had written 3 endings until I got the one I wanted (btw, I knew it was the right one when the small hairs stood up).
