How do you get inspired to write?

Tony Bertauski I don't know, to be honest. I write the stuff that turns me on. There was a time I decided to write a romance novel. I don't read romance, so it took some practice to get in the flow. But halfway through the rough draft, almost 40,000 words worth, I couldn't stop thinking about the next sci-fi novel I wanted to write. I dropped the romance right there and never looked back.

Any plans for more Drayton? Imagine how dissapointed a new reader (like myself) was after tearing through The Drayton Chronicles not realizing that the "chronicles" were all contained in the one volume I read.
