What inspired you to write the otherworld assassins? Are you going to write more? I love your books!

Thank you!
I wrote the Alien Huntress series because I wanted to write a series about aliens already living and hidden among us (and because I wanted to give the hero and the woman who policed --and entranced-- him super cool powers lol) I had planned to continue writing about Mia Snow, remaining in her point of view for the entire series. But I wasn't happy with the way I'd written her, and when it came time to write book 2, I turned my attention to another heroine. The series name implied the heroine would be a cop and the hero would be an alien, and that limited the storylines I could tell. (Not that I stuck to those limits :) In the end, we decided to create a new series title that would let me write what I wanted to write -- alien heroes and heroines :)
Now that Dallas's story is out in the wild (Blood Red Kiss/Dark Swan), I would love to write John's book. I'll be self-publishing it, however, and need to get some contracted books off my plate first. So. I don't have an official release date yet, or any new news on this front, but will post as soon as I do!

Since you've been writing supernatural stuff for years(by the way, I love them!!!) what made you decide to write a contemporary love story? How do you even begin to convince your readers to try this out?Honestly, when I first saw it at Goodreads, I was a little shocked (good shock, but totally shocked). Also, I've been dying to know when is the next book for Angels of the Dark?
