I was in my early twenties. I was married, had two young kids and couldn't decide what I wanted to be when I "grew up." :) I'd started and abandoned college and jobs (I was basically Belle from Playing With Fire) Finally I had a heart to heart with myself. What could I see myself doing--happily--long term? Writing was the only answer, and I've been doing it ever since!

Hi Gena I'm a really big fan I have purchased and read most of your books and find you as a great inspiration. My question is when you write a new book do you have a definite plot inside your head and basic synopsis before you start writing? Or have you ever just had this one great idea and started writing, not knowing what's going to happen just let the words flow onto the screen? Thank you, Cassandra
