This is a fairly general question, but I was wondering how you come up with/establish your characters? Do you use specific archetypes to fill certain roles, do you draw from people and personalities in real life, or is there some other process you go by? Thanks in advance :)

Gena Showalter I think little bits and pieces of me as well as the people I love make it into the characters, but I don't draw from specific archetypes. The past of the character, their specific believes and hopes and dreams establish who they are on the page :)
