Goodreads asked Patrick Paul Garlinger:

How do you get inspired to write?

Patrick Paul Garlinger For my own writing, I find that whatever I read--the news, Facebook posts, advertisements, Instagram--sparks some insight or response in me based on the spiritual wisdom I have been taught and received through channeling. It's as if the words themselves demand expression, to spread their energy through the world. Even in my own writing, where I am consciously generating, as opposed to channeling, where I feel very much like a conduit, the words themselves still have a life of their own. Inspiration comes from wanting people to see how their liberation is right there, available to them, and yet there is so much misinformation about the world, including misinformation of a spiritual nature, that blocks or impedes people from realizing that their freedom from the ego and connection with the Divine is right there, always, as their birthright.
