Rinji asked Christine Feehan:

I am a long time fan of your books. I love them all and can't chose a favorite. I am also a writer, unpublished at the moment other than poetry which is not my perfered style of writing. Anyway... I was wondering how long was the longest time you spent on a single book writing it? I have been trying to write this one story for a couple years now and it never seems right.

Christine Feehan I've always been able to write fairly quickly, so about 3 months is average, but sometimes it takes longer according to what's going on in my life at the time.
But, I encourage you to write at least one page a day. If you do that, you will have a novel by the end of the year!
