This question contains spoilers… (view spoiler)[ I am re-reading the entire Dark Series in order this year to prepare for the release of Dark Sentinel & just finished Dark Storm. In Dark Peril, Dominic breathed fire like a dragon, was that because he was Dragonseeker? Then in Dark Storm, Dax also breathed fire, but was that because The Old One had already merged souls with him or is Danutdaxton also Dragonseeker? (hide spoiler)]
