I was so disappointed with Grisham's last novel I actually STOPPED reading it. I've never done that with him before. I am gun shy about getting his new one. Any thoughts?
Penny Eh. Very disappointed in the last 30 pages or so. It's like he got tired of writing and just said, "So this is what happened." All narrative. The last…moreEh. Very disappointed in the last 30 pages or so. It's like he got tired of writing and just said, "So this is what happened." All narrative. The last chapter is a waste as well. Sounds like he had a time limit and stopped typing when the bell rang in the middle of a paragraph. Story is somewhat interesting. Characters not so much.(less)
