Hanna
Hanna asked Carrie Turansky:

Do you ever worry that your non-MC's are too perfect or have too many flaws?

Carrie Turansky Hi Cute Polar Bear, I try to take almost as much time creating my secondary characters as I do my main characters. I write a brief backstory for them and give them goals and conflicts too. Balancing their strengths and weaknesses helps them be more believable. If they are too perfect or have too many flaws they seem less real to me. You might like to visit my website writers' page for some more tips. Thanks for posting a question! Best to you on your writing journey, Carrie www.carrieturansky.com
