How do you get inspired to write?

Clair Brett I am going to say something that may get me into trouble, but I do not believe in having to "get inspiration" to write. I do not have a muse, I fired her a long time ago, because it was a very easy excuse to not write. "Well, my muse isn't feeling it today, so I can't write." I get inspiration for story ideas, but not the actual act of writing. It is my job and I have to be at my job everyday, so I HAVE to write everyday.
