Good question. The easy answer is the couple in the current book I am reading or writing every single time, but I guess other than that, I would have to say Elizabeth Bennett and Mr. Darcy because they are so perfectly human. They let their own prejudices, and ideals get in the way, but in the end are able to get passed themselves and see the real person they were missing by using assumptions. I think their relationship gives us all hope that we can get beyond ourselves and find that one person who is made for us.

Dealing with the Viscount was an idea I had years and years ago. The manuscript at the point of publication looks very unlike the original idea. I usually will see something, or read something, then a few days later I get an idea for a scene and then it snowballs. I would have to leave that as my answer, because back when I got the initial idea, I wasn't yet in "author" mode, so I didn't write down my inspiration with the idea that someone would ask me that question years later. lol

I am going to say something that may get me into trouble, but I do not believe in having to "get inspiration" to write. I do not have a muse, I fired her a long time ago, because it was a very easy excuse to not write. "Well, my muse isn't feeling it today, so I can't write." I get inspiration for story ideas, but not the actual act of writing. It is my job and I have to be at my job everyday, so I HAVE to write everyday.

I am working on the second book in my Improper Wives for Proper Lords series. My heroine starts out as a infamous Highway"man" in this fun book. I am having a blast working on it. She keeps my hero Lord Breakerton on his toes.

Don't get hung up on the "rules" of writing when you are first creating. I did this and it stopped me for quite a while. Just write your story and then you can go back and fix it. Revisions are your friend!

I get to create a world where love and goodness always win the day. I am also a creative person by nature and this allows me to explore those creative thoughts.

I try to have a general idea of where my next scene has to go and I just push through. It might not be my best work, but I can go back later and revise it, but I don't believe in writer's block, if I did I probably wouldn't get anything done.
