Laura Walz
Laura Walz asked Lynsay Sands:

How did you get your first book noticed? I've published an eBook on amazon, and I'm starting to lose faith in myself, in my writing abilities. I worked so hard on it, and now I don't know what to do with it. Are there any tips or suggestions you have that could help me? I'd appreciate it! Thank you!

Lynsay Sands Hi Laura. I just got lucky, and it was slow going. My readership has slowly built up over the years, a few more readers with each book. Don't lose heart. As for tips to get it noticed, I suck at that kind of thing. I had other writers giving me loads of advice on that for years, so much that it just confused me and I decided to just concentrate on writing and let the rest of it deal with itself. I'm sure there is loads of advice on it out there on the internet though. And I know they have panels and discussions on that kind of thing at the RWA conferences. How to get your book out there, how to get reviews etc. Check out their website. They may even have articles on it there. If not, you can at least see where and when the next conference is and maybe arrange to attend. They do have some good suggestions from what I hear
