Just a completely different experience. PS starts off right away w/ the claustrophobic car ride to their new beautiful home in Maine. Even during lighter parts of the book you still feel like you're walking on egg shells, or something is off. A really deep, awful look at "what if that happened to".... It's the best/worst of Stephen King. He doesn't let you grieve. Which is the point. (less)
