Does the creepiness start early in the book, or is it like "It," a little more slow paced?

Samantha It's much faster paced than It, but it is a little bit of a slow build at the start.
R L It's shorter than IT. Just a completely different experience. PS starts off right away w/ the claustrophobic car ride to their new beautiful home in Maine. Even during lighter parts of the book you still feel like you're walking on egg shells, or something is off. A really deep, awful look at "what if that happened to".... It's the best/worst of Stephen King. He doesn't let you grieve. Which is the point.
Greg Lorenzo, "Sematary" is a shorter book than "It" or "The Stand". In fact, it's the kind of book one can read at one sitting (as I did), thus increasing the impact. This book builds quickly to a very, very creepy climax.
Daniel Adams Fast-paced, especially by King standards, but last 100 or so pages are where most of the iconic scenes occur.
Tim Lemke No, it's pretty face paced right away. There is a slow section in the middle and then it builds again. It's much shorter than some of his other books.
Joshua Bush It is paced way faster! it will suck you in quickly!!
