How is it like writing a series? Do you have to plan it all out in advance and decide which bit goes in which book?

Devika Fernando That's a great question! Unlike some other authors, I write series where each book can be read as a stand-alone with separate characters and a happy end. That makes it easier to coordinate and write. There's no logical sequence and no need to tie up loose ends or arrange the pieces in a puzzle.
With my "4 Elements of Love" series, I have all four books planned out (plot, blurb and rough characterization) and can't wait to write them all. With my "Romance Round the World Series" focusing on stories set in different countries, I am writing on one (Sri Lanka), thinking of the next (Germany) and leaving the rest open...
