Did you have any outside inspiration with the character construction, similar to how Cathy, Heathcliff and Edgar from Wuthering Heights inspired various scenes in the Twilight series. I know when I write, I always go back to the Lord of the Rings trilogy by J.R Tolkein.

Colleen Houck I'm a big Shakespeare fan and each book in the Tiger Series is loosely based on a play. Curse was Romeo and Juliet so the characters not only talk about the play and read it together, there is a sad sense that even though they love each other they cannot be together.
