Unfortunately, book 2 had a major set back, so won't be published until mid to late 2017. I don't have a date yet, but I'll let you know when I do. If you change your mind and wish to read the first book instead of waiting, you can always finish on the last chapter (27), while putting the epilogue aside until book 2 is ready. Chapter 27 rounds things off nicely, while the epilogue tells you what one of the characters is thinking about doing in book 2. It doesn't mean it'll happen, it's just a teaser.
