In this South Auckland neighbourhood where gang culture, drink, drugs, sex and violence is already a way of life; a vicious attack on a teenage girl sparks a ripple effect of revenge and fury. Live the carnage through multiple viewpoints as the tale unfolds to a bloody climax.

is on page 63 of Queen of Spades: I would love to finish this book, but I have to publish my PSEUDONYM NOVEL as well as HUNGOVER first, but for readers of BEHIND THE LIVES, Ashes to Ashes, etc. Talia is in this book, so is Big Mack. Dillon from OVERWHELMED and HUNGOVER also features (He's Tom's best friend and business partner). Yup, Overwhelmed is part of the Behind the Lives/Broken Lives universe. It's just set in a different part of Auckland.

Looks like the "Behind the Tears" cover will probably be changing due to a different structuring of the story (a work in progress due to be published this year). I am attempting to take out Chaz's viewpoints, therefore not allowing people to know what he's up to. Because of this, Ash will most likely be put on the cover instead. Although he is not the bad guy, he has the majority of the chapters in the book.
