I just listened to the audio books of The Girl In The Ice &The Night Stalker back to back; your characters are so well portrayed that they come alive! I felt like I was watching a movie in my head. Being a 25 year expat, it's a treat reading these intense thrillers & getting a taste of home at the same time. I looked for book #3 and see it's coming out in October ... and I was hoping it was perhaps going to be sooner?

Hi Robert, I picked up A Girl in the Ice based mainly on the cover but love a good crime story. Not usually a fan of ongoing seriesbut I loved A Girl in the Ice so much I grabbed a copy of The Night Stalker before I was finished. Working my way through the last few chapters of Night Stalker now and am eagerly looking forward to the third book in the series. Are there plans to write more DCI Foster stories?

Not as much of a question as a comment, it seems like many of the characters in the Erika Foster series come from underrepresented groups. I'm really thrilled to see nuanced depictions of women, people who identify as LGBTQ, and people of color. Did you intend to write in more diverse characters or did it just unfold naturally?
