Amor Towles Dear Cathy,
All is moving along well, if slowly with the film version of RULES of CIVILITY. The book was optioned by Lionsgate. They hired a terrific producer, Marc Platt; who in turn hired a terrific director, Sam Gold. They have in hand a script written by Weber & Neustadter. Now, they are in the process of trying to find the perfect actress to portray Katey. Once they have their lead actress, things should move along quickly.

Hi Amor, Carol Anne Hedley or Caz here again. I thought you may like to know that in our safe we have the flag taken from Csar Nicholas’s family yacht by my husbands grandfather or great? He was in the Australian Navy when he and his crew came across the drifting yacht. He shimmied up the flagpole and somehow bought it home with him. I have photos but am unable to attach. The Flag has been authenticated. Cheers

I loved Rules of Civility, but I am having trouble with A Gentleman. Is this meant to be a fantasy? It certainly has no relation to reality, at least not in the beginning.
